I am in my twenties, which is… a really weird age.
Most days I don’t know which direction to take or who I want to become when I “grow up”. On other days, I know everything and I map out a detailed plan on how to get there.
Your twenties are confusing but marvellous. A decade where you can experiment and take risks – although sometimes I tend to forget this.

​Even if I get lost in the whirlwind of this world, there are a few things that are the foundations of my life:

Fashion, which I have always loved ever since I was a kid

Literature, that has helped me to learn and expand my horizons

Travelling, which I have been lucky enough to be able to do from a very young age

Summer, there is nothing that makes me happier than feeling the hot Sun on my skin

emptypockets was born on a Summer day in 2019 when it was too hot to go outside. At first it was a very simple personal blog, where I could write about my thoughts on fashion, my travels, and poetry. It quickly evolved into a portfolio in 2020 as a quick way to find all my published articles and see the magazines and websites I’ve worked for.

emptypockets is a work in progress but no matter how much it’ll change it will maintain the light-hearted and airy tone of it. It’s nothing too serious, it’s a personal project where I, and you, can find my work as a journalist and writer – but also some random ideas and perhaps a tiny window on my life.
